HUST To Continue with the 50/50 Matchday Draw
With the start of the season now upon us, HUST and HFC have been in joint discussion regarding the 50/50 Draw on matchdays.
Due to the current uncertainty and limited resources available to the Club, in these challenging times, HUST and our Club board have decided on a strategy for the way forward.
HUST and HFC are delighted to announce that HUST will continue to operate the 50/50 draw both on match days at Edgar Street and online, for the 2020/21 Season.
Both HUST and HFC would like to thank the supporters who have taken part in the draw, particularly during lockdown and over the close season.
Peter Sell, HUST Chairman, said “It’s imperative that we are all pulling together to ensure the viability of our Club. HUST is already geared up to selling the Half Time Draw tickets so it makes sense to continue to support the Club in this way.”
Hereford FC Chairman, Andrew Graham, said “It’s a challenging time for the Club, right now and HUST taking this on, for the coming season, allows the board to concentrate on other things”
Since football ground to a halt in March 2020, the online draws saw 8285 tickets sold which means £4,143 in prize money and the equivalent in funds raised to contribute to the £20,000 donated to the Club in share purchase over the same time.
